Corey Rust starred for New Providence with 26 points, including four three-pointers, in a 66-41 win over Dayton in Springfield.
Jackson Zarinko added 13 points for New Providence, which outscored Dayton 19-0 in the second quarter after an almost even 17-15 first quarter. Aden Pecena notched 10 points for Dayton while Lujuan Quinones recorded seven points.
