Announcements and Important Events
1. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
- Buses/Teams are not permitted on campus earlier than the specified times below:
Friday, June 11 - Campus Open 1pm, Meet Times 2:30-7:00pm
Saturday, June 12 - Campus Open 8am, Meet Times 10am-5:30pm
- Visiting buses will arrive on site and proceed towards the PHS stadium via the Hylton Rd. Entrance ONLY Bus drivers set your GPS to 800 Hylton Rd 08110
- Athletes and coaches will be dropped off near the Field House and proceed to Tent City. o Buses will park on campus as directed by Event Staff.
- When the meet is over, coaches should call their bus drivers to pick them up in the same location as the drop off.
B) FAN PARKING: (driving directions below) Parking will be available for fans at: Available lot at Pennsauken High School, and Remington Ave. Entrance for Spectator Parking.
2. ATHLETIC FIELDS/COMPLEX REGULATIONS – (Visiting Team & Spectator Notifications)
By law, the presence, consumption or serving of alcoholic beverages in ANY form is NOT permitted on ANY school grounds or in the school facilities.
By law, smoking is NOT permitted on ANY school grounds or in the complex or buildings.
Under no circumstances will food or beverages be permitted on the turf or track. This includes, but is not limited to, chewing gum, sunflower seeds & chewing tobacco. Water is permitted.
No Tents will be permitted in the stadium for anyone. All Team Tents must be put up in the designated Tent City area per Map on pg 4.
No pets are permitted in the complex, unless used in assistance for disability purposes.
Radios or other audio-visual equipment, drones and noisemakers are prohibited.
TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE NJSIAA WEBSITE THROUGH THE HOME TOWN TICKETING PLATFORM this is the recommended method. Limited tickets will be available for purchase at the gate.
C) Covid Screening : It is the responsibility of each participating school to conduct a pre-screening of each athlete and coach who will be entering our campus.
3. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
In case of emergency, all coaches, athletes, spectators and officials will be instructed to follow procedures as directed by the Athletic Director or designee, in accordance with any other law enforcement directive. Personnel working the track meet can be identified by Pennnsauken Attire and may consist of the Athletic Director, Assistant Principal/School Administrator, uniformed Pennsauken Township Police officers and/or faculty staff security teams.
GUIDELINES FOR LIGHTNING SAFETY
Please listen for the announcement by the Meet Director
IN CASE OF LIGHTNING:
Report to their buses or to the Main Gymnasium.
Coaches should take attendance & await further instructions.
All students must stay with their coaches when inside the building.
Students are not allowed to be in the classrooms or in other areas of the building.
OFFICIALS - Report to the Main Gymnasium and stay together
FANS - Move to their vehicles, if parked in parking lot.
RESUMPTION OF PLAY
Return to competition will be determined by NJSIAA Guidelines
